I play wooden rhythm bones (2 hands) with a tunable style. In 2001 I met a fantastic bones player at a festival in Skagen, Denmark. I was working backstage serving beer, when I saw a man sitting by him self, shaking his hand with some sticks in it. I was speechless!!! It was Yirdy Machar. My English was really bad and I had to gather all my courage to ask him what he was doing and then he replyed in Danish! “Sit down and I’ll show you,” he said and I have been playing since.
