Bones Fest XXV was to be a gala Fest in Alexandria, VA, but alas the pandemic forces us to another Zoom Fest. There were a few more people sign up and not all are shown in the composite photograph above. A link to the Fest Program Booklet is above.
The program followed last year’s program except there was only one Zoom room meaning we were together for the entire Fest. The Individual Introduction session gave people a chance to introduce themselves and show a bit of their playing style. Other sessions were Bone Making, several Advanced Workshops, Essence of Irish Bones Playing, How to Improve You Playing, Rhythm Bones Tone, and The Goat Bone Story. Annika Mikolajko-Osman present a program demonstrating playing to several different styles of music.
