Bones Fest XXIX was held in Natick, MA on August 6-10, 2025 co-hosted by Bruno Giles and Steve Brown. Festivities began Thursday evening at Morse Tavern with the Jug Band Jam. Friday morning began with the traditional introductions of attendees and continued with workshops on Latin Bones Rhythms by Kenny Wolin, Techniques by Graham Hargrove, My Life on Bones by Hubby Jenkins, Introduction to Irish Sessions by Skeffington Flynn, and Introduction to Drum Circle by Dave Curry. During the evening there was an Irish Session and a Drum Circle. Saturday began with a Solkattu Workshop followed by preparations for and then a Flash Mod at the Farmer’s Market across the street. The afternoon had a jam session with the Busted Jug Band and preparations for the Saturday Evening Show. Sunday was good byes and for a few a trip to the Boston Museum of Fine Arts to look at The Bones Player’ painting. Another great Bones Fest.
