Ron started playing bones at the suggestion of an old-time banjo playing friend.  That was shortly before he attended the 2016 Bones Fest XX in Homer NY, where he was hooked.  He continues to play bones in old-time and Irish sessions, with an African drum circle on Sunday afternoons in the park, at home to music from all over the world, and any chance he gets.  Ron is a life long lover of traditional dance. He teaches Irish Set Dance (squares) as well as Cajun and Zydeco.
