Borris Sichon was classically trained as a percussionist at the University of Lenningrad in Russia. He toured Europe as part of a state sponsored ensemble, and defected to France and later to Israel. He picked up rhythm bones and has brought his own sense of spirit to the instrument. He now lives in Vancover, BC.
