Mike learned to play rhythm bones somewhere in the 1970’s. He is a solo performer, he uses them to accompany vocals and to add percussion to his instrumental recordings. He has been called one of the most versatile entertainers in the Midwest. He not only plays bones, but also jaw harp, mountain dulcimer, nose flute, banjo, guitar and a collection of instruments made from junk. He has a bunch of recordings ranging from mountain dulcimer to children’s music, to storytelling. Check out his website.
