Highlights of Bones Fest XXIX

Latin Bones Workshop

(Photographs show Friday and Saturday Attendees)

Bones Fest XXIX began on Thursday nights with a reception at the Morse Tavern with a Jug Band Jam.  Friday morning was the traditional introductions with attendees telling their rhythm bones stories.  This was followed by workshops, on Latin Rhythm by Kenny Wolin, Graham Hargrove discussing techniques, Hubby Jenkins talking about his life with rhythm bones, an Irish session discussion, and an introduction to Drum Circles.  Later that night was a Drum Circle and an Irish Session.  Saturday started with a workshop followed by preparation for and then a Flash Mob at the farmer’s market across the street. This was followed by jamming to Busted Jug Ban and preparation for the Saturday Night Show.  Good byes on Sunday except for a small group that saw The Bone Player painting in the Boston Fine Arts Museum.  Another great weekend.
